Robert Gaslin, CPA

Robert has been specializing in personalized tax preparation, audits, consulting, and financial statement preparation in Baker City and Portland, Oregon since 2005.  He graduated from George Fox University in 2005 with a BA in Accounting and a BA in Finance.  Upon graduation, he worked for a large, regional accounting firm in Portland, earning his CPA certificate in 2007.  While in Portland, Robert worked on audits and tax returns for many large organizations, and specialized in municipal and not-for-profit entities.   In 2008, Robert and his wife, Josey, decided to return to her hometown of Baker City to raise their family.   Robert is ready to tackle any challenges and begin his role as your trusted tax planner and financial advisor.​

Josey Gaslin

Josey graduated from George Fox University in 2006 with a BA in Accounting and a BA in Business Management.  While at George Fox, she helped establish a free tax preparation service for low-income and non-English-speaking families.  This program, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, continues to serve the Newberg area.  Josey has been preparing tax returns since 2004 and worked as an internal auditor for a large, regional law firm in Portland, Oregon.  After moving back to Baker City with her family, Josey and her husband, Robert, opened a small accounting firm, where Josey continued to prepare tax returns and provided accounting and financial consulting services to local businesses, specializing in rural telecommunications.  She now works alongside her husband, Robert, at Gaslin Accounting and offers tax, accounting, consulting, and payroll tax services.

ReNae Cameron

ReNae has been with Gaslin Accounting since 2022 and is a licensed tax preparer and QuickBooks ProAdvisor, as well as a notary.  She has been married to her husband, Retired Air Force MSgt. Tim, since 1988 and has two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Kacee Lou, who live in Idaho.  She has two dogs, Pip and Evian, and enjoys spending time outdoors and at her family cabin in Sumpter, Oregon.

Daphne Schultz​​

Daphne has been a part of our team since 2023 and is the friendly face you see when you come into our office.  As our receptionist, she keeps the office running smoothly and will be the person fielding calls and scheduling appointments; she is also the primary contact for our clients during tax season.  Daphne and her husband have four adult children, and Lily, a corgi-mix pup.  She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
